The role of Busser/Runner at Main Event Grand Prairie is a crucial component in maintaining the restaurant's efficient workflow and outstanding guest experience. This position is both full time and part time, offering flexibility to suit varying schedules. Bussers/Runners are essential team players who support servers, ensure cleanliness, and assist in expediting food orders in a timely manner. This role demands an energetic individual who is constantly on the move, tackling a variety of daily tasks with professionalism and a positive attitude. Bussers/Runners act as the backbone of the restaurant floor, making sure tables are cleared and reset quickly, guests’ needs are met proactively, and the dining environment is clean and welcoming at all times. From cleaning tables, resetting them for new guests, to running food orders, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness, this job is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and enjoys interacting in a hospitality environment. Job Requirements

Ability to work full time or part time as needed
Must be energetic and able to stay on feet for extended periods
Must be able to lift and carry moderate weight
Good communication skills
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is a plus
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Positive attitude and guest-focused mindset

Job Duties

Provide guest service and communicate effectively when guests need attention
Provide a friendly, relaxing, and professional demeanor while assisting servers
Clean tables by removing plates, utensils, and drinkware and sanitizing surfaces
Reset tables promptly for the next guests
Clean various areas in and around the restaurant
Empty trash cans
Expedite and run food to the correct tables
Notify management of any facility issues
Clean up spills immediately
Inspect restrooms to ensure cleanliness at all times
