The role of Food Runner at Pacific Catch is integral to the seamless operation and guest satisfaction within the restaurant. As a Food Runner, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately. This position is part-time, hourly, and non-exempt, offering competitive compensation at $17.81 per hour. The schedule is variable and requires flexibility as hours may change weekly, with an emphasis on weekend availability. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Food Runner plays a key role in upholding the company’s Hospitality Standards and Team Member Standards, ensuring that every guest interaction is positive and memorable. Beyond delivering orders, Food Runners also assist with maintaining stocked server stations, handling utensils and condiments, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards in the dining area.

Job Requirements
- High school education is required
- Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Weekend availability is a must
Job Qualifications
- High school education is required
- Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred
Job Duties
- Run food and beverages out to the correct tables as they appear in the window
- Check all items for completion, accuracy, and table numbers
- Communicate with the servers and kitchen if something is incorrect or missing from an order
- Be aware of and be able to inform Guests of Pacific Catch’s ingredients and components of all food and beverage items
- Ensure that all necessary condiments and appropriate serving implements, dishes, glassware, and utensils are available and clean for Guests
- During any downtime, proactively assist other team members or as requested by the manager
- Make sure to-go roll-ups and server station are stocked
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
