Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced grocery store environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and product labels
- Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
- Basic computer skills including PC and Outlook
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Retail management certificate is a plus
Job Duties
- Assist in maintaining the store, particularly in the product department
- Assist customers on the store floor as needed
- Bag groceries properly for customers
- Carry out groceries for customers when requested
- Maintain and retrieve store carts
- Run price checks
- Assist with go-backs and check stand upkeep
- Remove waste from the parking area to maintain cleanliness and safety
