With a strong presence in the aviation industry, Gulfstream is committed to excellence, quality, and innovation. The company operates in multiple locations, including a significant facility in Fort Worth, Texas, where it provides services ranging from aircraft design and production to maintenance and repair.

The RS AMT Team Lead A&P position at Gulfstream's Fort Worth facility is an exciting opportunity for experienced aviation maintenance professionals. This full-time role plays a pivotal part in coordinating and overseeing technical functions related to aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of critical aircraft components. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensuring the highest standards of operation, maintenance, and compliance with FAA regulations.

As an RS AMT Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning and directing various aircraft maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairing avionics, electrical systems, mechanical systems, airframes, engine components, landing gear, and control systems. Your leadership will be vital in guaranteeing that work orders are completed with precision and timely paperwork is maintained to support operational efficiency.

This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of aviation maintenance procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality control standards. You will oversee the use of ground support and special equipment used for component removal and installation while applying LEAN and 6S initiatives to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Your responsibility will include secure handling and storage of customer property and aircraft components, coordinating with other departments for overhaul or repair needs, and ensuring effective communication during shift turnovers and work order sign-offs.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license and have substantial experience, including a minimum of eight years in aviation maintenance, with at least two years in Gulfstream aircraft maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is required, alongside a valid driver's license. The position also demands strong mentoring capabilities and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative and productive environment.

This is a highly visible role within the service center category requiring up to 25 percent travel and operating primarily on the first shift. Gulfstream values diversity and inclusivity, encouraging qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans to apply. Although the company does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, existing sponsored Gulfstream employees are eligible.

Joining Gulfstream means becoming part of a legacy of aerospace leadership and innovation. The company offers a challenging and rewarding career path where your expertise in aircraft maintenance leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and safety of some of the most advanced business jet aircraft globally.
