The role of Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst is a vital and dynamic position that directly impacts customer experience and company growth. As an RSR, you will be the face of UniFirst to customers, managing a dedicated route to build and maintain strong relationships through reliable and professional service. This field-based role involves daily deliveries and pickups of garments and products, assisting with the loading and unloading of route trucks to ensure operational efficiency. Beyond just handling logistics, you’ll have an active role in sales growth by identifying upselling opportunities and introducing new products that enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
This position values independence, responsibility, and customer focus. You will be expected to manage your route with precision and maintain a predictable Monday to Friday daytime schedule, contributing to a healthy work-life balance with no night or weekend shifts. Your day-to-day tasks will incorporate physically active duties across various environments, requiring the ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. By delivering consistent, on-time services and troubleshooting issues promptly, you will help uphold UniFirst’s standards for service excellence.
Additionally, you will participate in formal training and ongoing development programs aimed at fostering your career growth within the company. The compensation structure is competitive, combining a weekly guaranteed base pay of $775 with additional earned commissions based on route expansion and sales performance. Geographic pay differentials may also apply depending on job location. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on customer interaction, value steady and growing income, and desire a role with a direct impact on customer success and business growth.
Joining UniFirst means becoming part of a supportive community that emphasizes safety, professionalism, and inclusivity.
