Job Description

UniFirst is a well-established international leader in the garment services industry, operating within an $18 billion market. With a workforce of over 16,000 dedicated team partners, UniFirst proudly serves approximately 300,000 business customer locations across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company is recognized for its outstanding workplace culture and commitment to excellence, earning accolades such as being listed among Selling Power magazine’s “Best Companies to Sell For” and Forbes magazine’s “Platinum 400 – Best Big Companies.” UniFirst emphasizes a diverse and inclusive work environment, supporting employees from various backgrounds and fostering a community-oriented atmosphere. It is an equal opportunity employer, with policies that prohibit discrimination based on race, color, gender, national origin, religion, disability, and other protected characteristics. UniFirst also provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.

The role of a Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst is central to the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. As an RSR, you will be the essential face of UniFirst to its customers. You will manage a designated route, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and pickup of garments and products, building solid relationships through dependable service and professional communication. This dynamic, field-based role offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with customers, work independently, and contribute meaningfully to both service quality and business growth.

Your responsibilities will include managing daily route operations, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a predictable schedule that typically runs Monday through Friday during daytime hours with no nights or weekends. The position demands a physically active individual capable of working both indoors and outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs, and remaining on their feet for extended periods. Driving safety is a top priority, and you will operate a company walk-in truck adhering to all safety standards.

This commissioned role allows you to increase your earning potential by growing customer accounts and identifying upselling opportunities for new garments, products, and services, thus enhancing the customer experience. The company provides formal training through its SCP program and continuous career development opportunities to support RSRs' success. The estimated base weekly compensation starts at $850, with additional commissions based on performance and geographic differentials.

At UniFirst, you will enjoy a supportive culture, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including health, life, and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, paid time off, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement. The role also offers stability and work-life balance with a consistent schedule and no weekend or night shifts. Joining UniFirst means becoming part of a respected leader in its industry, benefiting from a strong sense of community, and having the opportunity to develop a rewarding career with ample room for growth and advancement.
