Operating in the $18 billion garment services industry, UniFirst supports over 300,000 business customer locations across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, employing more than 16,000 team members. The company is renowned for its strong culture, nationwide presence, and dedication to providing exemplary service. UniFirst has earned a spot among the top companies in its field, highlighted by accolades such as the top 10 in Selling Power magazine's "Best Companies to Sell For" and a place on Forbes magazine's "Platinum 400 – Best Big Companies" list. It is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to inclusivity and diversity, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and ensuring accommodations during the hiring process for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions.
The Route Service Representative (RSR) position at UniFirst is a dynamic, customer-facing role that demands both dedication and independence. As the face of UniFirst to customers, an RSR manages a specific route, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups of garments and products. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and who take pride in managing their responsibilities thoroughly. RSRs build and maintain strong customer relationships, handle route operations, support logistical needs by loading and unloading trucks, and actively contribute to growing business through upselling opportunities. The position requires physical stamina as it involves working both indoors and outdoors while handling products and maintaining safety.
Working as an RSR offers a predictable Monday through Friday daytime schedule without nights or weekends, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The role is commissioned from day one, meaning income potential increases as you expand and upsell your customer route. The company supports RSRs through formal training programs and continuous career development initiatives. Working with UniFirst means joining a company rooted in community, safety, and professionalism, delivering outstanding service while ensuring the well-being of its employees and customers alike. This role is ideal for those seeking a stable yet engaging career path in a service-driven environment with ample growth opportunities and competitive compensation.
