Job Description

UniFirst is a prominent leader in the garment services industry, recognized internationally for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Established as a key player in an $18 billion market, UniFirst employs over 16,000 team members who serve a vast network of approximately 300,000 business customer locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company prides itself on a strong corporate culture rooted in inclusivity, professionalism, and community support, earning accolades such as a place in Selling Power magazine’s “Best Companies to Sell For” and Forbes magazine’s “Platinum 400 – Best Big Companies” list. UniFirst operates with a mission centered around delivering exceptional service and value, fostering long-term relationships with their customers while continuously evolving to meet the dynamic needs of the industry.

As a Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst, you will play a vital role as the face of the company to its valued customers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, field-based role and enjoy interacting closely with customers while taking full ownership of their assigned route. Your primary responsibility will be to manage daily deliveries and pickups of garments and products, ensuring a seamless experience for customers that reflects UniFirst’s promise of reliability, professionalism, and customer care. In addition, you will be expected to actively grow your customer accounts by identifying upselling opportunities and promoting new garments and services that align with customer needs, thereby increasing your earning potential through a commission-based compensation structure from day one.

This role requires strong independent work skills, as well as the ability to maintain consistent routes throughout the workweek, building predictable schedules and deepening customer trusting relationships. The physical nature of the job involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, including loading and unloading route trucks and working with inventories, making stamina and attention to safety critical components of success. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of UniFirst’s service operations, emphasizing dependability, professionalism, and excellent communication.

UniFirst empowers its RSRs with comprehensive training, ongoing development opportunities, and a support system designed to help you succeed. This role also offers a highly attractive work-life balance with Monday through Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and a stable, predictable schedule. Being part of a nationwide company dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion ensures you’ll work in a welcoming environment that values the distinct perspectives and backgrounds of all employees. If you are a motivated, customer-oriented individual ready to build a rewarding career with growth potential, UniFirst’s Route Service Representative position is an excellent opportunity to advance your professional journey while making a meaningful difference in clients' daily operations.
