The company is currently seeking dependable and motivated Delivery Drivers for locations including South Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Auburn/Enterprise, and Columbus, GA. This role offers a unique work-life balance with Monday to Thursday 10-hour shifts, allowing employees to enjoy three-day weekends every week. Delivery drivers will operate small sprinter or transit-type vans, handling light-duty deliveries without the need for a commercial driver’s license (CDL). As a valued part of the Cozzini team, drivers will not only perform delivery and exchange services but also play a key role in promoting company programs and building strong customer relationships within the local and national food service sectors.

Job Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Capability to reach, twist, turn, bend, and pull
Proficiency in climbing and navigating various terrains
Capacity to sit and stand for extended periods
Dexterity to load and unload delivery items safely
Endurance for physical tasks throughout a 10-hour shift
Compliance with safe driving techniques for company vehicles
Maintain physical stamina for light-duty deliveries
Adherence to safety protocols during physically demanding tasks
Ability to handle and operate handheld devices for delivery tracking and inventory management
Overnight travel is required

Job Qualifications

Reliable and dependable driving professional
Previous route sales or delivery experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with a customer-first attitude

Job Duties

Deliver and exchange cutlery to national and local restaurants, food service, and grocery customers
Deliver and exchange kitchen blades on can openers, deli slicers, food processors, and other food service equipment
Promote and sell company programs and promotional items
Collect payment on invoices including cash, card, and check
Use handheld devices for efficient tracking of all customer knife sets
Ensure safe and responsible operation of company vehicles
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
