Job Description
GENDA Americas is the North American hub of GENDA, a global leader in amusement and entertainment. With an extensive portfolio of companies across Canada and the USA, GENDA Americas focuses on creating joy, delivering value, and strengthening communities by investing in and growing leading entertainment brands. The company manages over 55,000 amusement vending machines placed in more than 15,000 locations nationwide, positioning itself as a dominant service provider in the amusement vending industry. Among its affiliated brands are Kiddleton, Player One Amusement Group (P1AG), National Entertainment Network (NEN), Enterrium, and Barberio, each specializing in various facets of the amusement and entertainment sectors, from arcade operations and crane machine services to upscale entertainment venues and community-based amusement offerings.
Kiddleton, a part of GENDA Americas, is well-known for bringing kawaii-inspired claw machines and intellectual property-driven prizes to arcades, retail spaces, and high-traffic entertainment venues throughout the U.S. and Canada. The company is currently seeking a highly motivated Amusement Games Service Technician (Route Service Mechanic - RSM) for a full-time route position based in Santa Rosa, California. This role demands an individual who thrives independently, delivers results, and demonstrates strong technical and customer service skills.
As an Amusement Games Service Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated territory with professionalism and efficiency. The role includes repairing and troubleshooting amusement equipment, ensuring all gaming equipment is merchandised with appealing prizes such as plush toys, and maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetics of products and machines to company standards. Furthermore, accurate route collections and adherence to cash handling procedures are essential. The technician will establish and maintain strong professional relationships with location staff and ensure each location is optimized to maximize revenue through strategic location rotations and promotional opportunities. The position involves meticulous record-keeping of all meters and follow-up tasks as assigned.
A notable preference for candidates with Japanese language skills is specified, as this ability supports communication with Japanese-speaking leadership regarding field initiatives, route AI, product testing, and merchandising analysis programs. Employees proficient in Japanese who actively use the language in work-related communication may receive a $2.40 per hour language differential, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting diverse communication needs and enhancing operational excellence.
GENDA Americas offers an inclusive workplace that respects and values diverse backgrounds, being an Equal Opportunity Employer that considers all qualified applicants irrespective of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or other legally protected categories. Employment for this position is contingent on authorization to work in the United States, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements as per federal, state, and local laws. The company does not provide visa sponsorship and participates in E-Verify.
Candidates joining GENDA Americas can expect a company vehicle to facilitate their route duties and comprehensive benefits covering health insurance (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off including vacation and holidays, partially paid pregnancy disability leave, and flexible working hours. This full-time role demands a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with a solid work ethic, excellent organizational abilities, and efficiency in managing tasks with minimal supervision. If you are passionate about technology, customer service, and the amusement industry, and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, this opportunity offers a dynamic career path within a leading amusement and entertainment company.
