The Route Service Manager role at UniFirst is a dynamic leadership position responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team
  • Strong computer proficiency with MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst’s standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED - bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Ability to problem solve and handle a variety customer service situations
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach and lead a team
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence

Job Duties

  • Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors
  • Build strong relationships with customers and elevate the team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with location management team to provide the best customer service and product programs
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals
