Job Description

United Site Services (USS) is the industry leader in comprehensive site services, dedicated to creating partnerships that support our customers' project and event success. We have established ourselves as a trusted partner through our deep industry expertise, commitment to excellence in process management, and a strong focus on corporate responsibility. These pillars form the foundation of our value proposition and are supported by tangible and best-practice programs. Our team is diverse and collaborative, consisting of field technicians, customer care representatives, sales professionals, and functional experts. Each team member plays a vital role in providing a seamless and reliable service experience for our customers. At United Site Services, we foster an environment that embraces continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence in all aspects of our business.

The role of Service Technician is central to our operations, acting as the heart of the business. This full-time position involves operating a company service truck to travel to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and holding tanks. The Service Technician must adhere to both USS and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety standards and perform job duties that require physical activities such as sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. There are also frequent lifting and pushing tasks involving weights between 50 and 150 pounds. The technician is responsible for servicing portable toilets according to USS's stringent 8-point service standard, engaging with customers on-site to ensure services meet their expectations, and exhibiting flexibility to adapt routes as needed to fulfill customer needs.

Furthermore, the Service Technician contributes valuable routing feedback to supervisors and coordinators to help optimize efficiency and service quality. Strategic planning with customers regarding their current and future portable toilet needs is another key responsibility, highlighting the role’s customer service and communication elements. This job requires excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to meet the dynamic demands of the field. Additionally, the position offers a competitive hourly wage range between $18.56 and $25.06, reflecting geographic location, skills, experience, education, and certification levels. The overall compensation package includes a robust benefits program for full-time employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week.

United Site Services values equal opportunity employment and prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other protected categories. For positions requiring secure site access or domestic travel, compliance with identification requirements such as REAL ID-compliant driver’s licenses or passports is mandatory.
