This particular role—Service Technician—is crucial to USS’s operational success and customer satisfaction. The Service Technician primarily operates company service trucks, traveling to various job sites to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and holding tanks. This hands-on role includes driving duties governed by both USS and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety standards, ensuring that all service tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.

Service Technicians are the frontline ambassadors of USS, performing customer service interactions that help maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness. They engage directly with customers on-site to confirm that services meet or exceed expectations and remain flexible to adjust routes and services to meet dynamic customer needs. This position requires consistent physical activity including lifting heavy items, kneeling, crouching, and walking extended periods, as well as excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.42 to $27.57, determined by geographical location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
