The Service Technician operates the company service truck to perform pumping, cleaning, and servicing of portable restrooms, adhering strictly to USS’s eight-point service standards. This full-time position demands a blend of technical skill, physical capability, and customer service aptitude. Technicians are the face of USS on client sites and play an instrumental role in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication, flexibility in route management, and strategic planning to meet current and future site needs. The role also emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance in line with USS and Department of Transportation requirements. Physical demands include the ability to lift between 50 to 150 pounds frequently, multi-positional work such as standing, sitting, kneeling, and pushing or pulling significant loads. Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
- valid driver license (CDL or non-commercial)
- excellent time management skills
- strong customer service and communication abilities
- effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements
- perform all work duties in a safe manner following USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries
- conduct servicing of portable toilets to USS 8 point service standard
- interact with customers onsite to ensure services meet their standards
- demonstrate flexibility to adjust routes to meet customer needs
- provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator for efficiency
- strategically plan customer portable toilet needs to satisfy present and future requirements
