The Route Service Delivery Driver role at Primo Brands is a critical position focused on delivering exceptional customer service to residential, commercial, and retail customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure timely and accurate delivery of bottled water and related products, while also contributing to the company's growth by upselling additional products and services. The route service delivery driver will be based in Long Island City, NY, and the position offers a competitive annual pay of $67,392 plus customer tips. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday work depending on business needs, starting early in the morning between 6 am and 7 am and continuing until the workload is complete.
This role requires the safe operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) and adherence to strict safety standards. Drivers must follow defined safe work practices, complete Department of Transportation (DOT) required documentation daily, and maintain a clean driving record. Beyond delivering beverages, the driver acts as the face of Primo Brands, providing courteous, professional customer service, maintaining delivery records, and supporting the team’s overall efficiency and success. Additionally, route service drivers offer water dispenser cleaning services, ensuring customers receive quality maintenance alongside their product deliveries.
Primo Brands places high value on safety consciousness, customer orientation, and selling skills in this role. Successful candidates will have or can obtain a CDL Class B license with airbrake endorsement, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, and possess the physical capability to handle demanding workloads that include lifting and carrying heavy products. Job Requirements
- Ability to secure or maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Service-oriented with strong face-to-face sales skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in different weather conditions
- Ability to effectively interact with customers in multiple settings
- Ability to lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day weighing up to 45 lbs
- Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles 40-55 times daily
- Ability to work an average 45-hour week with variable start and end times
- Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, and walk throughout the day
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
