The company is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Route Sales Professionals to join their nationwide team. This position is pivotal in maintaining the company's strong market presence and ensuring customers receive top-quality products. The role involves managing product merchandising, stocking, and rotating items on store shelves and displays to guarantee freshness and quality. Route Sales Professionals drive sales growth by identifying new display opportunities, setting up incremental displays, and utilizing sales data to implement effective store-level strategies.
Additionally, this role involves cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships by following up on new account opportunities and executing promotional campaigns effectively. Introducing new products to customers and maximizing shelf space within existing accounts are key responsibilities in enhancing market penetration. Route Sales Professionals also handle daily route settlement procedures, ensuring accurate inventory counts and the proper processing of invoices, cash, and deposits. Safe operation of the company route truck and completing Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs are essential duties, along with timely submission of required documentation and paperwork.
Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment that requires physical agility, including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent reaching. This is a full-time role with varying shifts, offering an appealing weekly base pay of approximately $1,100, equating to an annual average between $55,000 and $85,000. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN, MI, TN
- Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card

- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred

Job Duties

- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
