The Route Sales Representative role at Bimbo Bakeries USA presents an exciting opportunity to join the largest baking company globally and be part of a dedicated and passionate team. This position offers competitive weekly base pay starting at $1,100, translating to an annual average salary range between $55,000 and $85,000. The work shift typically runs early in the morning from 2am to 4am, Wednesday through Sunday, allowing for weekdays off. In this role, the Route Sales Representative will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of bakery products on shelves and displays to maintain product freshness and quality. The representative will actively drive sales growth by securing new display spaces, setting up incremental displays, and utilizing sales data to inform strategic decisions at the store level. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is key, including following up on new account opportunities and ensuring the successful execution of promotions. The role also involves introducing new products and services to maximize shelf presence and sales both in existing accounts and potential new customers. Route settlement tasks such as accounting for products, invoices, cash, and maintaining accurate inventory counts are crucial to the role. Additionally, the representative will safely operate the company route truck and complete necessary Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs and required documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- successfully able to obtain chauffer license if job location is in IN, MI, TN
- ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD preferred
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs
- meet physical and mental demands of job
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
- ability to obtain chauffer license if job location is in IN, MI, or TN
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required reports and records
Job Duties
- Merchandise, stock, and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
