The Route Sales Professional Express role at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers an excellent opportunity to join this extensive network of dedicated associates. This position combines salesmanship, customer service, and operational responsibilities to ensure that Bimbo Bakeries' products are well represented on retail shelves and in-store displays. Offering a weekly base pay of $278 plus commission, which translates to an average annual salary between $55,000 and $75,000, this full-time role operates Monday through Friday beginning at 6:00 a.m. Employees receive full benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans.
In this role, the sales professional is responsible for merchandising, stocking, and maintaining product freshness through proper rotation on shelves. The position requires actively driving sales through securing additional display space, setting up incremental displays, and leveraging sales data to develop tailored in-store strategies. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is key, as is following up on new account opportunities and executing promotional activities effectively. Additionally, the role encompasses introducing new products and services to maximize shelf space and sales volume within existing and new accounts. Operational duties include conducting daily route settlement procedures to reconcile products, invoices, cash, and inventory, as well as safely driving the company route truck while completing necessary Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and documentation.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain a chauffeur license if job location is in IN MI TN
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse understand highway signs respond to inquiries and complete reports
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Ability to obtain chauffeur license if located in IN MI TN
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and compliance
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Merchandise stock and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves to guarantee freshness
- Drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays
