The role available is for a Route Sales Professional Extra, an essential position within the company’s sales and distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of a company with a strong national presence and a supportive culture. The position offers competitive compensation with a weekly base pay of $355 plus commission, translating to an average annual salary of $52,000 to $60,000. The role operates on a first shift schedule starting at 5 am, with weekends off, providing a good work-life balance. In this role, the Route Sales Professional Extra will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and maintaining product quality and freshness on store shelves and displays. This involves ensuring proper rotation of products to maximize shelf life and consumer satisfaction. The position also requires driving sales forward by securing new display areas, setting up incremental displays, and utilizing sales data to develop in-store strategies. Building strong customer relationships and following up on new account opportunities are key components, along with ensuring the timely execution of company promotions.
The role also includes responsibilities such as introducing new products and services to current accounts and potential customers to maximize sales and shelf space. Route Sales Professionals must conduct daily route settlement procedures, which involve accounting for all products, invoices, cash, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. Safe operation of the company route truck is mandatory, as well as the completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs and timely submission of all required documentation, paperwork, and deposits.
This position demands an individual who is diligent, organized, and possesses excellent communication and customer service skills. Because this is a role that involves direct interactions with customers and physical activity, candidates must be capable of handling various physical tasks including climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent reaching. It is preferred that candidates have 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD).

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN, MI, TN
- Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card

Job Duties
