The Route Sales Professional Express role at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this esteemed family. This position is designed for individuals motivated to drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the freshest products reach the consumers every day. The role operates on a first shift schedule starting approximately at 4 AM from Monday through Friday, providing a structured work week. The base pay is competitive at $450 weekly plus commission, with an annual earnings average between $60,000 and $65,000. As a Route Sales Professional Express, you will be a vital link between the company and retail customers by managing merchandising, stocking, and product rotation to guarantee optimal quality and freshness. Your efforts in securing new display spaces and setting up incremental displays will directly impact sales growth. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- successfully able to obtain chauffeur license (if job location is in IN, MI, TN)
- ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
- consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card

- good physical condition to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
Job Duties
- Merchandise, stock, and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
- drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
- follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
- introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
- conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT (US Department of Transportation) daily logs
- submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
