The Route Sales Professional Express role at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers an exciting opportunity to join this industry-leading organization. This full-time position provides a competitive weekly base pay plus commission, with an annual average earning potential between $65,000 and $80,000. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Ability to climb, push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
- 1-3 years of related Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) experience preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and maintain reports
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN, MI, or TN
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway signs, respond to official inquiries, and maintain reports
- Ability to climb, push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
Job Duties
- Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays
- Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and in pursuit of new customers
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs
- Submit required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
