The Route Sales Professional Express role at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers a unique opportunity to join this expansive and dynamic company. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining the quality and availability of Bimbo Bakeries’ products by managing merchandising, stocking, and strategic display of bakery items in retail stores. With a focus on driving sales and enhancing consumer reach, this role requires strong relationship-building skills to secure new account opportunities and expand business within existing accounts. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, providing a consistent and predictable work routine.
Employees in this role benefit from a competitive weekly base pay of $300, plus commission, which translates to an average annual salary range between $65,000 and $80,000. As a Route Sales Professional Express, you will be directly responsible for the merchandising and proper rotation of products to guarantee freshness and quality. Your work impacts the customer's experience by ensuring display standards and sales strategies are effectively executed. You'll be responsible for driving sales growth by setting up incremental displays, utilizing sales data, and promoting new products. The role also involves accountability through daily route settlement tasks, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and completing essential documentation such as invoices and deposits.
Driving the company route truck safely and completing Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs are critical aspects of the job. This ensures compliance with transportation regulations while supporting route efficiency. The role requires physical demands including the ability to climb, bend, push, pull, stoop, and kneel regularly, along with fine motor skills needed for product handling. Experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively in English is essential to interact with customers and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN, MI, TN
- Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution is preferred
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

Job Duties
- Merchandise, stock, and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
- Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
