The company is currently seeking Route Sales Professionals to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to become part of the largest baking company in the world, contributing to its ongoing success and growth. Offered is a full-time position with a shift schedule from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday, making it ideal for those who value consistent hours. Compensation includes a weekly base pay of $300 plus commission, translating to an estimated annual income ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, reflecting both base salary and performance incentives. The role of a Route Sales Professional is multifaceted and vital to the company’s success. Responsibilities include the merchandising and stocking of products within retail environments to assure optimal product freshness and visibility, utilizing sales data to drive strategic store-level decisions that boost sales performance. The individual will also play a key role in securing new display space and incrementally setting up displays to maximize product exposure. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring execution of promotions is critical, along with pursuing new account opportunities. The position demands daily operational duties such as conducting route settlement procedures, managing inventory counts, completing all required documentation in a timely manner, and safely driving the company route truck while adhering to US Department of Transportation regulations. This role offers the unique chance to directly impact sales and customer satisfaction through diligent route management and active engagement with retail partners.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License if job location is in IN MI TN
  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • 1-3 years of related experience in DSD direct sales distribution is preferred
  • Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • 1-3 years of related experience in DSD direct sales distribution is preferred

Job Duties

  • Merchandise stock and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
  • Drive sales by securing new display space setting up incremental displays and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
  • Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
  • Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products invoices and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
  • Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
  • Submit other required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
