Job Description

Bimbo Bakeries USA stands as a leader in the baking industry, renowned for its iconic brands such as Arnold, Brownberry, Oroweat, Thomas' English Muffins, Sara Lee, Entenmann's, and Marinela. As the largest baking company in the world, Bimbo Bakeries USA employs over 20,000 associates across bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes nationwide. The company's mission revolves around delivering the freshest bakery products to consumers at every meal while fostering a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace. Bimbo Bakeries USA places strong emphasis on employee development and values authenticity among its workforce. Its commitment to providing competitive pay and extensive benefits ensures associates enjoy rewarding careers with growth potential in a supportive environment.

The role of a Route Sales Professional Express at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers a unique opportunity to join this esteemed organization and contribute directly to its distribution and sales operations. This full-time position centers on the dynamic responsibilities of merchandising, stocking, and rotating bakery products on store shelves to maintain optimum quality and freshness. The Route Sales Professional is integral in driving sales growth by securing new display spaces, establishing incremental displays, and leveraging sales data to develop effective store-level strategies. Engaging with customers is a key part of the role—building strong relationships, following up on new account opportunities, and promoting the execution of in-store promotions. The position involves introducing new products and services to maximize shelf space and revenue in existing accounts while also targeting new customers. Route settlement procedures, including product accounting, invoice and cash reconciliation, and inventory management, form an essential part of daily duties. Safe operation of the company route truck and compliance with DOT requirements—including maintenance of daily logs—are mandatory.

This position offers a competitive compensation package with a base weekly pay of $300 plus commission, culminating in an average annual income between $53,300 and $60,000. The typical work schedule starts at approximately 5:00 am, Monday through Friday. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and a robust retirement plan. The role demands physical activities such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent handling of items, making physical fitness an important aspect. Candidates with 1 to 3 years of related Direct Sales Distribution experience are preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required. Abilities to read and speak English adequately to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete paperwork are essential. The Route Sales Professional Express role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking a stable career path in a company committed to equal employment opportunities and fostering a workplace where everyone belongs.
