With more than 20,000 associates working across bakeries, sales centers, offices, and delivery routes, the company is dedicated to ensuring that consumers have the freshest baked goods available for every meal. Bimbo Bakeries USA fosters a work environment that values diversity and inclusion, promotes development opportunities, and supports associates being their authentic selves. Their commitment extends beyond product quality to offering a safe workplace and competitive pay and benefits to their workforce.

The Route Sales Professional role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a pivotal position within the company, offering an opportunity to join a thriving team focused on delivering high-quality baked goods directly to retail locations. This is a full-time position featuring a competitive base pay of $348 per week plus commission, with an annual average total compensation ranging from $65,000 to $80,000. The shift runs early in the morning from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, with Wednesdays and Sundays off, making it appealing for those seeking consistency in work hours and a balanced schedule. Full benefits are provided, including medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.

In this role, the professional will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and rotating the company’s products on store shelves and displays to preserve freshness and quality. Driving sales growth through securing new display spaces, setting up promotional displays, and using sales data to tailor strategies will be a key part of daily responsibilities. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, pursuing new sales opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of promotions will also be expected. Additionally, the position requires conducting daily route settlement activities involving inventory counts, product accounting, and invoice and cash handling.

This role also involves safely operating a company route truck while maintaining daily Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and submitting all required documentation and deposits punctually. The position demands physical capability to perform tasks such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent use of fingers during the course of the workday. Overall, the Route Sales Professional acts as the face of Bimbo Bakeries USA, ensuring that retail locations are well-stocked with fresh baked goods while driving sales and customer satisfaction in a safe and compliant manner.
