The Route Sales Professional role at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers a unique opportunity to join the largest baking company in the world. This full-time position offers a competitive weekly base pay of $100 plus commission, with an annual average salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000. Employees benefit from a start time of 5:00 a.m. with Wednesdays and Sundays off, allowing for a balanced work schedule. In this dynamic role, the Route Sales Professional is responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to maintain the highest standards of freshness and quality. You will actively drive sales growth by securing new display spaces, setting up incremental displays, and leveraging sales data to inform strategies tailored to individual stores. Building strong relationships with store personnel and following up on new account opportunities will be essential for maximizing sales and expanding shelf presence. Furthermore, introducing new products and services to both existing and prospective accounts will help sustain the company's market leadership.
Operational responsibilities include conducting daily route settlements, managing product inventory, invoicing, and cash tracking with meticulous care. Route Sales Professionals are also entrusted with safely operating the company route truck, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation, including daily DOT logs, paperwork, and deposits.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain chauffeur license if job location is in IN MI or TN
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD preferred
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public understand highway traffic signs and respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to acquire and maintain DOT medical card
- Ability to obtain chauffeur license if required by job location
- Consistent communication skills in English
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing pushing pulling bending stooping and kneeling
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and reporting
