Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a Department of Transportation medical card
- Successfully able to obtain chauffeur license if job location is in Indiana Michigan or Tennessee
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public understand highway traffic signs and signals respond to official inquiries and complete reports and records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and understand highway signage
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and comply with DOT regulations
Job Duties
- Merchandise stock and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays
- Drive sales by securing new display space setting up incremental displays and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing and new accounts
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products invoices and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete Department of Transportation daily logs
- Submit required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
