Bimbo Bakeries USA is a leading leader in the baking industry, known for producing and distributing some of the most beloved bread and snack brands in the United States. With an extensive product portfolio that includes Arnold, Brownberry, and Oroweat breads; Thomas English muffins and bagels; as well as delicious treats from Sara Lee, Entenmann's, and Marinela, Bimbo Bakeries USA has become a household name recognized for quality and freshness. The company employs over 20,000 associates who work across bakeries, sales centers, corporate offices, and sales routes, all dedicated to delivering fresh, high-quality bakery products to consumers nationwide. Bimbo Bakeries USA is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace that encourages professional development and allows associates to bring their authentic selves to work every day.

The Route Sales Professional role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to be part of the largest baking company in the world and contribute directly to the company's sales and distribution efforts. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a weekly base pay of $298 plus commission, with an annual average salary ranging between $65,000 and $70,000. The role operates on a first shift schedule, beginning at 3 a.m., with Wednesdays and Sundays off, providing a balanced work-life setup.

As a Route Sales Professional, you will play a pivotal role in the merchandising, stocking, and rotation of bakery products on store shelves and displays to guarantee optimum quality and freshness. You will be responsible for driving sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays, leveraging sales data to craft and execute effective store-level strategies. Building and maintaining solid customer relationships, following up on new account opportunities, and ensuring the execution of promotional campaigns are also integral parts of this position. Furthermore, you will introduce new products and services to maximize sales potential and shelf space both within current accounts and among prospective customers.

This role requires daily route settlement procedures that include accounting for all products, invoices, and cash, while ensuring accurate inventory counts. Additionally, you will be tasked with safely operating the company route truck, completing Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs, and submitting necessary documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time. The role demands both physical stamina and attention to detail to succeed in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment that values safety, efficiency, and excellent service.

Bimbo Bakeries USA provides exceptional benefits that support work-life balance and health, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a retirement plan. The company prioritizes a culture of inclusion, equity, and opportunity, embracing diversity throughout its workforce and making it a welcoming employer for all qualified candidates.
