Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain chauffeur license if job location is in IN MI TN
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public understand highway signs respond to inquiries and complete reports
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD is preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to maintain required documentation
- Ability to operate route delivery vehicles safely
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Job Duties
- Merchandise stock and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays
- Drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships
- Ensure the execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures including accounting for products invoices and cash
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- Submit required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
