The role of Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. As a Route Sales Professional, you will serve as a key representative of the company, responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring that products are rotated correctly on store shelves and displays to maintain optimal quality and freshness. The role involves actively driving sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and utilizing sales data to develop store-level sales strategies. You will be tasked with building and nurturing strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions and introducing new products and services to expand sales and shelf presence.
This full-time position offers a weekly base pay of $350 plus commission, with an average annual income ranging between $60,000 and $80,000. The position starts early in the morning at 3:30 am and offers the attractive benefit of having Mondays and Thursdays off each week. In addition to competitive compensation, the role includes full benefits coverage such as medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan. The Route Sales Professional is expected to conduct daily settlement procedures on the route, accounting for products, invoices, cash, and inventory, while adhering to all logistical and regulatory standards.
A critical component of the job is the safe and compliant operation of the company route truck, including maintaining United States Department of Transportation daily logs and submitting accurate paperwork and deposits on time. This role requires someone who is energetic, customer-focused, and capable of working independently with a proactive sales mindset. The position contributes directly to the success and growth of Bimbo Bakeries USA by ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that company products maintain their reputation for quality and freshness across numerous retail locations.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain DOT medical card
- Successfully obtain chauffeur license if job location is in IN MI TN
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods and perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public understand highway traffic signs respond to official inquiries and complete reports
