The role of Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a vital position responsible for ensuring that retail stores are well-stocked with fresh bakery products while actively driving sales and strengthening customer relationships. This full-time, shift-based position starts at 3:00 AM and runs Wednesday through Sunday, with the benefit of having Monday and Tuesday off. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License if job location is in IN, MI, or TN
- Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Ability to obtain Chauffer License if job location is in IN, MI, or TN
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent reaching
Job Duties

- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
