Now, Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking dedicated and motivated Route Sales Professionals to join their family. This role is essential in ensuring the availability and quality of Bimbo's products in retail stores, while actively driving sales and building strong customer relationships. This position offers a competitive weekly base pay of $350 plus commission, which can lead to an annual average income ranging between $60,000 and $85,000. The work schedule is from 4 am to 1 pm, with Wednesdays and Sundays off, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. Full benefits are offered including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a retirement plan.

As a Route Sales Professional, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee freshness and quality. You will play a critical role in expanding sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data analytics to inform store-level strategies. Maintaining strong customer relationships is key, as you will follow up on new account opportunities and ensure the successful execution of promotions. Introducing new products and services to maximize sales within existing accounts and potential new customers is also a major part of the role.

Your responsibilities extend to daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash, while maintaining accurate inventory counts. You will be required to safely drive the company route truck, complete USDA Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs, and submit all necessary documentation, paperwork, and deposits punctually. This position is suited for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to handle physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and pulling. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successfully able to obtain chauffeur license if job location is in Indiana Michigan or Tennessee
  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • One to three years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public understand highway traffic signs and signals respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
