The Route Sales Professional role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a unique opportunity to join a nationwide family of passionate associates who drive the company's success in retail distribution. The position offers a competitive pay package, including weekly base pay and commission, with an annual average salary range of $60,000 to $125,000. This role operates on a schedule beginning as early as 4:00 am and typically includes Wednesdays and Sundays off, creating a balanced work-life environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and visibility of Bimbo Bakeries USA products in retail locations. A Route Sales Professional is responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of baked goods on shelves and displays to maintain freshness and customer satisfaction. Driving sales through the establishment of new display spaces, incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies is a core component of the job. This position also requires building strong customer relationships, following up on new account opportunities, executing promotional plans, and introducing new products and services to maximize revenue and shelf space.

The Route Sales Professional is entrusted with route settlement procedures, including accounting for product inventory, invoices, and cash management. Driving requires adherence to US Department of Transportation regulations, including maintaining daily logs and ensuring safety on the road. The role involves submitting required paperwork and deposits accurately and on time, demanding strong organizational and time management skills. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN MI TN
  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution is preferred
  • Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
