This role involves direct interaction with retail customers to drive product sales while maintaining the highest standards of product presentation and freshness. The position offers a competitive base pay of $1,125 weekly, plus commission, which equates to an annual average salary between $58,500 and $85,000. It is a first-shift opening starting early in the morning, around 4 am, with the benefit of Wednesdays and Sundays off. Full benefits are provided, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a retirement plan.\n\nAs a Route Sales Professional, you will have the important responsibility of merchandising, stocking, and rotating products on store shelves and displays to maximize product freshness and appeal. You will play a pivotal role in expanding sales by securing new display space and setting up additional displays driven by insightful sales data. Building strong relationships with customers and following up on new account opportunities is essential, as is executing promotional campaigns effectively. The role also involves introducing new products to existing accounts and prospective clients to broaden market penetration. Route settlement procedures, including product accountability, invoicing, and cash handling, are part of the daily routine. This position requires safe driving of the company route truck and maintaining Department of Transportation daily logs and paperwork. Overall, this is a dynamic and rewarding role that blends sales, customer service, and logistics within a supportive and growth-oriented company culture.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN)
  • Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred
  • Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records

Job Duties

  • Merchandise, stock, and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
  • Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
  • Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
  • Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
  • Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
  • Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time
