As a Route Sales Professional with Bimbo Bakeries USA, you will play a vital role in directly connecting the company’s popular products with retail customers. This role offers competitive compensation with a weekly base pay of $350 plus commission, averaging annual earnings between $65,000 and $80,000. The position follows a first-shift opening schedule, starting at 4 am with Wednesdays and Sundays off, giving a well-structured workweek that supports work-life balance. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan are also part of the employment package.

In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products at store locations, ensuring proper product rotation to maintain the highest quality and freshness. Your efforts will drive sales growth by securing additional display space and setting up incremental product displays. Using sales data, you will strategize to maximize impact at the store level. Building and nurturing strong customer relationships is a core part of your responsibilities, including following up on new account opportunities and executing promotional campaigns effectively. You will also introduce new products and services within existing accounts and in pursuit of new customers.

The role involves daily route settlement procedures where you will manage product inventory, invoices, and cash to ensure thorough accountability. You will safely drive a company route truck and maintain daily logs compliant with Department of Transportation requirements. Timely submission of documentation, paperwork, and deposits are essential to supporting operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive, organized, and customer-focused mindset to thrive in a dynamic work environment along with physical stamina to meet the job's demands.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successfully able to obtain chauffer license if job location is in IN MI TN
  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods
  • 1-3 years of related experience in DSD preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway traffic signs

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Ability to obtain chauffer license if applicable by state
  • 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and compliance
  • Physical ability to climb push pull bend stoop kneel and reach frequently
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
