Job Description
Ole is a renowned company dedicated to producing the finest authentic Mexican-inspired products, emphasizing an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness. The brand takes pride in its mission to deliver products that truly embody the authentic flavors and culinary traditions of Mexico, striving to bring wholesome, fun, and genuine eating experiences to families. Ole understands the significance of having its products at customers' dinner tables and views this as the highest form of compliment, motivating the team to uphold the utmost standards. The company has established itself as a trusted name within the food industry, especially recognized for tortillas and other Mexican food products, servicing grocery stores and various retail outlets to meet the demand for genuine Mexican cuisine. They actively foster strong relationships with their retail partners and customers by ensuring that their products maintain peak quality, freshness, and authenticity from production to delivery.
At Ole, the role of a PIO Route Driver is pivotal in supporting the companys supply chain and distribution efforts. The PIO Route Driver is responsible for efficiently transporting products, mainly tortillas, to various grocery stores according to designated route schedules. This position requires a reliable professional who can manage pick-up and delivery activities meticulously, keeping precise travel logs that document work hours, mileage, and locations attended. Integral to the role is maintaining the company vehicle in excellent condition by performing routine inspections and upkeep, thus ensuring safety and compliance with road safety regulations. The PIO Route Driver must also adapt to traffic conditions by adjusting routes proactively and communicate effectively with management about any incidents or issues that arise during deliveries. This job demands punctuality, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence, as the driver directly influences customer satisfaction and the companys reputation through timely and safe delivery of fresh products.
This position is not remote or hybrid, requiring the driver to be present on-site and operate within the local delivery network. Candidates with handheld device experience to manage invoices and credit notes, as well as knowledge in direct store delivery (DSD) to both chain and independent grocery stores, will find this role well suited for their skill set. Furthermore, the ability to load products effectively from the warehouse, unload at client locations, and perform merchandising tasks contributes to overall operational success. Ole values bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish as this enhances communication within multicultural delivery areas. Operating under a professional, safety-conscious environment, the PIO Route Driver will play a central role in ensuring all transportation duties align with Ole’s mission of delivering top-quality Mexican food products fresh to the market.
