The Route Rider position at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a critical role responsible for ensuring that the company’s products are well represented and effectively sold in retail stores. This role involves merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the freshness of products on shelves and displays. Route Riders play an essential part in driving sales through securing new display spaces, setting up incremental displays, and analyzing sales data to adapt store-level strategies. They build strong customer relationships by following up on new account opportunities, executing promotions, and introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space. The position requires driving a company truck responsibly while completing U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs and handling daily route settlement procedures with accuracy. This role supports the new Hy-Vee business and offers a competitive weekly base pay plus commission, amounting to an approximate annual average of $55,000 to $65,000.
