Its commitment to providing employees with competitive pay and great benefits fosters a positive culture where team members can thrive and contribute their authentic selves. Bimbo Bakeries USA is part of the global baking powerhouse Grupo Bimbo, the largest baking company in the world, which further strengthens its position in the market and provides a platform for career growth and innovation.
The role of a Route Rider at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a critical position that combines both sales and distribution responsibilities. Applicants can expect a weekly base pay of $350 plus commission, which equates to an annual average salary ranging between $65,000 and $80,000. The work schedule specifically includes time off on Wednesdays and Sundays, with shifts running early mornings from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing for a good work-life balance.
As a Route Rider, the incumbent will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products to guarantee optimal freshness and quality on store shelves and displays. This requires close attention to product rotation and presentation standards. Additionally, the role involves driving sales through strategic placement and increment of display spaces backed by sales data analysis to tailor approaches at the store level. The Route Rider will also be proactive in following up on new business opportunities, fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring the implementation of promotions, and introducing new products to existing and new customers to maximize sales and shelf space.
