The company currently has an exciting opportunity for the position of Route Rider. This role is vital for the successful delivery and merchandising of Bimbo Bakeries USA products to retail customers. As a Route Rider, the associate will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper product rotation on store shelves to maintain freshness and quality. The role also involves driving sales by securing new display spaces, setting up additional displays, and leveraging sales data for strategic planning at the store level. The Route Rider works closely with store personnel, following up on new account opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities. Introducing new products to maximize sales and shelf space is a key part of the role, along with conducting daily route settlements including accounting for all products, invoices, and cash reconciliations. This position requires safe operation of the company route truck and accurate completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs and other required documentation. The Route Rider role offers a weekly base pay of $350 plus commission, with an annual average earnings range between $65,000 to $80,000. The work schedule includes Wednesday and Sunday off, with typical hours from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Full benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
