The company is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Route Riders. This role is essential for maintaining the company’s strong presence in retail outlets and ensuring that customers receive the finest products on time. The Route Rider position offers a competitive weekly base pay of $1,350 and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. The work schedule starts at approximately 2:00 am with Wednesday and Sunday off, offering a good balance for those seeking a stable career within a well-established company.

As a Route Rider at Bimbo Bakeries USA, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, and rotating products on store shelves and displays to guarantee product freshness and quality. This hands-on role combines sales, inventory management, and delivery, making it dynamic and engaging for candidates who enjoy customer interaction and driving sales growth. Route Riders will play a critical part in introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within both existing and prospective accounts. Handling daily route settlement involves accounting for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts. Operating the company route truck safely and completing all required Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and paperwork accurately and on time is also a key component of the job. The role requires physical stamina as you will be climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and kneeling throughout the day.

This position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution (DSD), who hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and who can comply with DOT regulations including obtaining and maintaining a DOT medical card and, if applicable, a chauffeur license in certain states such as Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee. Strong English communication skills are necessary to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and manage accurate reporting.
