The Route Rider position is a critical role within Bimbo Bakeries USA, responsible for driving the company route truck and delivering bakery products to retail locations. This role requires individuals who are self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of managing inventory and sales data to maximize product placement and sales growth. Route Riders play an essential role in building strong customer relationships by executing promotions, introducing new products, and securing additional display space to drive sales.

The position offers a weekly base pay of $284 plus commission, averaging an annual income between $52,000 and $60,000. The work shift typically starts at 5:00 am, with Wednesdays and Sundays off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. In addition to competitive pay, the Route Rider role includes a full range of benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, and a retirement plan.

Candidates for this role should be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, and be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card. Experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred. The job demands physical activity, including climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent use of fingers. Effective communication skills in English are necessary to comply with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations and to engage professionally with the general public.
