The role of Route Rider at Bimbo Bakeries USA offers a unique opportunity for individuals eager to join a thriving company that values hard work, commitment, and career growth. This position is a full-time role offering competitive compensation, starting with $100 weekly base pay plus commission, averaging an annual income of $65,000 to $68,000. The shift begins early, around 5:00 am, and associates enjoy the benefit of having Sundays and Wednesdays off. As a Route Rider, you will play a critical role in growing the company’s market presence by merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the freshness and quality of products in retail locations. Your responsibilities will also include driving sales by obtaining additional display spaces, setting up incremental displays, and employing sales data-driven strategies at the store level. Building strong customer relationships, pursuing new accounts, and ensuring promotional activities are executed effectively will emphasize your contribution to the company’s success. The position requires operating the company route truck safely while complying with Department of Transportation regulations, including maintaining daily logs and completing all settlement procedures with accuracy and professionalism.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License if job location is in IN MI TN
- Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution is preferred
- Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records

Job Duties
- Merchandise stock and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness
- Drive sales by securing new display space setting up incremental displays and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products invoices and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
- Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- Submit other required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
