Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- proven sales experience
- physical ability to load and unload up to 50 pounds
- ability to operate a 26-foot bobtail truck
- pass pre-employment drug screening and physical examination
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Qualifications
- Must have sales and customer services experience
- must have a clean driver’s license
- must be able to drive a 26-foot bobtail truck
- must be comfortable loading and unloading truck with up to 50 pounds bags of linen daily
- must pass drug tests and clinic physical
Job Duties
- Maintains a professional appearance in compliance with company standards
- calls on prospective customers to solicit new business
- informs regular customers of new products or services
- drives truck to deliver laundry and or uniforms to customer’s place of business
- collects or picks up rejected or unsold laundry and or uniforms
- loads and unloads truck
- develops and maintains customer goodwill by providing assistance and practicing courtesy
- conducts business in a professional manner to minimize or eliminate customer complaints
- handles complaints and questions with supervisor support
- listens to and resolves service complaints
- maintains inventory and follows company policies on inventory control
- collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions
- issues or obtains customer signature on invoices
- records delivery and inventory information on invoices
- cleans inside of truck
- performs routine maintenance on truck
- attends training and service department meetings
