ROUTE DRIVER - UTILITY (FULL TIME)

The Route Driver - Utility position at Canteen is a full-time role designed for those who enjoy driving and customer service. The role is based in San Diego, with a schedule consisting of five days a week, starting at 3:00 am, typically averaging 10 hours per day. This role involves driving a company-owned truck over established routes to deliver and sell a variety of products including soft drinks, bakery items, specialty foods, snacks, and sundries directly to customers’ places of business. The position demands a high level of responsibility as Route Drivers also collect money from vending machines, make change, maintain stock, and ensure merchandising is attractive and functional.

In addition to delivery duties, Route Drivers at Canteen provide excellent customer service by addressing complaints, informing customers about new products and services, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The role also requires performing routine maintenance on vending machines and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
