The position of Class A Route Driver based in St. Louis, MO, is an essential role within Airgas, focusing on the safe transportation and delivery of compressed gas cylinders and hardgoods along specified routes. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with a 6 am start time and the valuable benefit of being home daily. Route Drivers at Airgas are responsible for operating Class A and B Hazmat vehicles, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring strict compliance with all hazardous materials safety requirements. The role also involves loading and unloading vehicle cargo, handling documentation accurately, and delivering exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and collecting empty cylinders.
