The role of Oil Sales & Service Representative (OSSR) is dynamic and multifaceted. It entails managing designated local territories with a focus on growing sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring safe and efficient handling of environmental waste services. Representatives engage deeply with clients, identify opportunities for service expansions, and provide essential support to ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations. This includes operating hoses and equipment to safely load and offload oil from various containers and oil tanker trucks, maintaining equipment, and completing paperwork accurately. The day-to-day activities demand both independence and teamwork, with an emphasis on professionalism, safety, and customer service.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must hold or qualify for a Class B Commercial Driver’s License and Med Card with Airbrake and Tanker endorsements
  • Ability to meet motor vehicle record standards including no seat belt or cell phone violations, excessive speeding, DUI, suspension, or multiple collisions
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment including respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and reflective vest
  • Ability to lift heavy hoses up to 40 lbs frequently and climb ladders regularly
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with customers and colleagues

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate electronic devices, equipment, and hoses
  • Experience with route sales preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with Med Card, Airbrake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements preferred
  • Ability to lift hoses weighing up to 40 lbs and climb ladders regularly
