Job Requirements
- Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Med Card, Airbrake, Tanker endorsements preferred, HAZMAT endorsement desirable
- Ability to lift and maneuver hoses weighing up to 55 lbs
- Capacity to lift heavy items such as grates and manhole covers
- Ability to climb ladders as required
- Valid motor vehicle record meeting company standards including absence of DUI, suspensions, excessive speeding or multiple collisions
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats
- Must pass pre-employment physical including drug and alcohol screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills and customer-focused approach
- Ability to operate equipment such as vacuum trucks, hoses, and electronic mobile devices
- Experience in route sales preferred
- Ability to develop new customer relationships and manage existing accounts
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to meet sales targets and achieve revenue goals
Job Duties
- Manage and grow your territory by building strong customer relationships
- Handle vacuum truck operations and manage hoses, waste storage units, trenches, and sub-terrain chambers
- Identify sales opportunities and recommend services to boost earnings
- Plan efficient routes and operate independently with professionalism
- Promote and adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain vehicle and equipment safety through regular inspections
- Complete accurate paperwork and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation requirements
