This role is a unique opportunity to join Crystal Clean as a Vacuum Sales and Service Representative, where your career will involve a rewarding mix of sales, hands-on service, and daily variety. This full-time position offers a local route with the benefit of being home every night, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. To support your transition and success, Crystal Clean provides a generous sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 and a six-month training period with guaranteed pay of $1,100 per week. After one year, average annual earnings range from $70,000 to $85,000 or more, combining a base salary and commissions, incentivizing strong performance and growth.

As a Vacuum Sales and Service Representative, you will be a key player in managing and growing your territory by building strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Your daily responsibilities will include operating a vacuum truck to handle hoses, waste storage units, trenches, and sub-terrain holding chambers, ensuring the safe and compliant collection of approved waste streams. Your role will involve not only service delivery but also spotting sales opportunities within your assigned geographic area, delivering excellent customer service, and representing Crystal Clean’s professional standards on the road.

You will work independently, planning efficient routes to maximize your time and minimize mileage, while adhering strictly to safety standards — a priority deeply embedded in Crystal Clean’s company culture. To succeed in this role, candidates will typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold or be qualified to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements such as Med Card, Airbrake, Tanker, and HAZMAT preferred. Physical readiness is crucial, as the job requires lifting hoses weighing up to 55 pounds, managing heavy equipment like grates and manhole covers, and occasionally climbing ladders. Personal protective equipment must be worn to maintain safety compliance.
