Job Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
must have reliable transportation
must hold a valid New Mexico CDL-Class B driver�s license
must have an insurable driving record and proof of current liability insurance
must have sufficient mobility to visit various locations on short notice
must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
must be willing to travel throughout New Mexico with some overnight stays
must comply with workplace drug-free policy

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
three years driving experience with CDL-Class B
ability to operate 24ft box truck safely and efficiently
ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures and give and receive instructions
strong verbal communication and writing skills
forklift experience preferred
experience working with adults with disabilities preferred

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of shredding receptacles to customers
support facility operations as needed
provide direct service to adults with developmental disabilities
plan daily route assignments and communicate relevant information to direct supervisor via telephone
ensure load volumes are within shipment capacity and monitor daily pick-up and delivery progress to meet customer needs by priority and geography
perform shredding duties using various shredding machines and perform baling duties including wiring finished bales
perform maintenance of shredding and baling equipment such as cleaning shredder blades, greasing machine parts, and cleaning conveyor belts
perform facility maintenance duties as needed
perform other duties as assigned
