Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous route driving or sales experience
- Ability to read and interpret invoices
- Ability to use handheld technology
- Good physical condition for loading and unloading
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday
- Ability to handle light physical work repeatedly
- Willingness to stay overnight on routes if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Previous route driving experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to interact effectively with others and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Safety focused mindset
- Ability to lift and carry light deliveries repeatedly
- Stable work history
- Ability to stay overnight for routes if required
- Previous route sales or customer service experience
- Previous linen or beverage route driving experience is a plus
- Verifiable good motor vehicle record
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Job Duties
- Load truck by invoice to insure all customer cutlery boxes and program items are available for delivery
- Deliver all stops assigned each day with 100 percent delivery
- Utilize handheld devices for capturing all delivery information
- Develop a relationship with each customer by getting to know managers, chefs, owners, etc.
- Maintain correct inventory for all accounts
- Utilize safe driving techniques in operating company vehicles
- Maintain Cozzini provided equipment in good working order
- Adhere to Cozzini's employee handbook and fleet safety program
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
