The role of Route Driver within the Shreveport Wholesale team is essential to maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational efficiency that S&S Tire upholds. This full-time position offers compensation starting at $18 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay and opportunities for frequent overtime. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with a 6 am start time, providing a structured workweek that supports a balanced lifestyle.

As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of tires to various customers using box trucks ranging from 16 to 28 feet in size. This role demands strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when pulling and loading tires, documenting inventory using handheld devices, and assisting warehouse operations when deliveries are complete for the day. Job Requirements

  • Current chauffeur’s license
  • minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
  • must be 23 years of age
  • good vehicle safety record with no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
  • valid driver’s license in good standing
  • forklift license is a plus
